Hungary

First, you need to know that Michelle has Hungarian blood!  Her mom is 100% Hungarian, but was born and grew up in Pennsylvania in the USA.  She never learned hungarian, but does cook a few hungarian things. More on food later! Michelle's grandfather's name was William Wattai.  Her grandmother's maiden name was Kőkemezei.   Michelle has a Hungarian Bible from her great Aunt Mary with lots of family information.   :)

Hungary is found east of Austria, south of Slovakia, north of Croatia and Serbia, and west of Romania. It is landlocked, but has the largest freshwater lake in Europe and many Europeans travel there during the summer.  The capital is Budapest and the city is split by the Danube River.  You can experience the four seasons, with Fall being the most wonderful. ;)

We live in a small house in Diósd, Hungary.  Diósd is a small town southwest of Budapest, right outside its city limits.

More to come...
