Kurtos Kalacs in Diosd

After our doc appt on Friday, we stayed in Budapest and took J's parents to lunch at Gerloczy Cafe. It was fantastic! Justin and I both got fish and chips and the fish was "nagyon finom" -very delicious! J's mom got tomato basil soup with mascarpone and she enjoyed that. I can't remember what J's dad got...


Then we came back to Diosd, where we live, and walked to the center of town to get some very tasty "kurtos kalacs". It's a pastry unique to Hungary and SO good! Here are some pics, but sadly I forgot to take a pic of the actual pastry. :(
